Busy busy...

Well, it's been a busy week...like usual.  That's good though.  Keeps me out of trouble (kind of).  Again, this will be a somewhat shorter blog than usual.  Only so many ways to say "work."

Everyday this past week (except Thursday), I was at work....and loving it.  I'm picking up hours, getting great experience, learning a lot...and just having fun.  I've been picking up so many hours, that my managers have to cut me back a little, as they don't want me working over 40 hours (understandably).  Either way, it's cool...I'm just happy to be there.  The whole environment is warm & welcoming.  Just fun in general.

So what else happened this week?  Well, like usual, I hit the club with Melem on Wednesday.  We hit Pulse, saw some cute boys and mingled.  Zac went along this time as well.  The cool part is, prior to Wednesday, I was talking with what turned out to be, a cool guy.  We talked a for a few days, then caught up with each other Wednesday night at Pulse.  We danced a little, talked, and ran into friends of his.  Normally this would be expected, but he's from NY.  So it was random to run into other people from NY...one of which went to school with a friend of mine who bar-tends here in Orlando.  Very small world.

So that night he came back with us.  He was in town with his dad (on work) and here enjoying a small getaway.  Turns out he was here for a week prior...sucks it took so long to see him.  Anyway, so he came back here...and needless to say, we had a great time.  Definitely enjoyed each other's time.  That night and the whole next day we chilled and talked.  Sucks that all the cool guys live so far.  He left yesterday (Saturday), headed back to NY.  Hopefully he'll make it back down soon.  If nothing else, I had an awesome few days and made a great friend.  One that I definitely intend to stay in contact with!

Okay, so enough of the fantasy time.  Let's see....hmmm.  Well, Seth & Angel are moving to Tampa.  No surprise there....I guessed that 2.5 weeks ago.  I'm happy for them... truly.  Some have asked how I'm going to deal with Seth being gone...my response - the same way I've been dealing with it the past 3 weeks - EASILY...lol.  Not a whole lot is going to change.  I'll see him just as much (or as little) as I did when he was here - only coming out from his room to smoke or chat, because he plays WOW all day.  I know he said he's bored here...nothing to do (which I think is funny) as he does the same exact thing there...but oh well.

On the plus side - our internet will be much faster and I'll have less lube all over the bathroom...lol.  Seriously though, I am happy for him.  I know he's excited and that's rare to see in him...so I wish him & Angel the best.  I just wonder what is going to happen with him going to school? and work?  Time will tell.

Okay, now to the gripe(s).  Nothing too major...I'm trying to be positive - but these dogs are getting on my nerves lately.  Yeah, they bark..that's nothing new...but WOW, seems to be growing exponentially (meaning a lot).  We are dealing with it.  I just hope they calm down soon, I only have so much Excedrin. That's pretty much it, my only gripe.

So I'm having problems again with my phone.  This is the replacement of the replacement phone I got (for the one that fell in the hot-tub).  Hot-tub one was hosed, replacement had buttons coming off of it, and this one is dropping audio along with a few other problems.  Fortunately, Verizon is on top of it and swapping the phone out entirely with a totally different model.  For that, I'm really happy.  Let's hope the new phone works...we'll see.

So yeah, that was pretty much it this week.  All in all, it was awesome.  Busy but accomplished.  I met a really cool guy who I hope to stay in contact with, got my hours bumped up at work, got a phone swapped out (again), saw a movie, actually made it to the store to get food (however limited it may be)....but still haven't made it to Blockbuster to return my videos..lol.  So the goal for next week - get those movies back.  Hope everyone has a great week.

Thanks to that one awesome guy!!!
